➢ The State Government has launched IT Saksham Yuva Scheme 2024 under which IT skills enhancement training would be given to 60,000 youths free of cost.
➢ The scheme will position Haryana as a leading IT powerhouse by leveraging its human capital potential, fostering innovation, creating a conducive ecosystem for technology-driven growth, and strengthening e-governance in the State.
➢ The scheme will provide IT skills training to 5000 youths in the first phase to graduate/post-graduate applicants from IT backgrounds to enhance their employment opportunities in Government or private sector.
➢ The youths will undertake the Haryana IT Program free of cost for a minimum duration of 3 months from State skilling/training agencies Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (HARTRON), Haryana Knowledge Corporation Limited (HKCL), and Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU).
➢ The IT Saksham Yuva on completion/passing the training courses may be given employment opportunities in various Departments/ Boards/ Corporations/ Registered Societies/ Agencies in the State of Haryana or private entities.
➢ A placement cell established by CRID will facilitate eligible IT Saksham Yuva’s in providing employment opportunities in the government or in private entities.
➢ The IT Saksham Yuva who are engaged with government departments will be given remuneration of INR 25000 per month.
➢ A monthly unemployment allowance of INR 10,000 per month be provided to the IT Saksham Yuva during the waiting period for deployment post passing the assessment test.
➢ A merit list to select 5000 applicants who will be given IT skill training will be prepared based on family income/age/education.
